The Virtual Reality App is located on the Quick Access Toolbar. When this app is selected Virtual Reality will be enabled. Please ensure that VR is properly setup before opening this app. When this app is select the Virtual Reality App will open and grant you a few options.

The Operator Mode checkbox allows you to operate Fuzor from the desktop while in VR

The Independent Camera checkbox allows the VR headset User and the VR operator to have separate views.

Manipulate section cuts.

The Render Mode drop down menu allows you to pick from the render modes in the Fuzor desktop settings.

Selection Mode allows you to select and manipulate objects in the 3D world. The Trigger is used to select objects

Movement Mode allows you to move selected objects around the scene. The Trigger is used to select objects. However additional functionality allowing transformation of the selected object is available in this mode

The Grab From Controller checkbox toggles whether the grab point is at the controller or where the controller is pointing.

Walking Mode moves allows you to traverse your model from a realistic human height as though they were walking around the site.

Flying Mode frees the control of the user so that they may fly around the scene and view the project from any angle.

Teleport Modes toggles whether the avatar is teleported to the exactly location that is being pointed at or a point along a curve that is designed to reach only walkable areas.

The Move speed slider controls the speed at which you are moving.

The Fix Sun Position checkbox disables changing the sun position with respect to the time of day in the 4D construction schedule.

The Record Presence Mapper checkboxenables recording for the presence mapper.

The Enable Gravity checkboxtoggles whether gravity affects the avatar.

The Enable Collisions checkboxtoggles whether users in VR are able to phase through objects: walls, floors, etc.

The Teleport Through Walls checkbox toggles whether users in VR are able to teleport through walls.

The Shadows checkbox toggles whether shadows are drawn from the sunlight.

The Teleport only Mode toggles whether the user is forced to teleport to move.

The Light dropdown menu controls when Lights are turned on an off.

Virtual Reality Apps

Learn what apps can be accessed from virtual reality sessions.

This is the visibility override app. Select from a model using the left column. Toggle the visibility of categories in the right column.

Toggles the visibility of the associated object.

The Play button plays your 4D schedule.

The Stop button stops your 4D schedule.

The Simulation Speed slider controls how fast your schedule plays by default the schedule will play 1day per sec.

The Fix Sun Position checkbox stops your sun from moving with your timeline.

There are 3 types of shapes you can create with the Creation App.

Basic mode allows construction of basic shapes.

Pipes Mode allows construction of pipes.

Ducts Mode allows construction of ducts.

Basic mode allows you to construct 3 different types of shapes. You can create cubes, Spheres, and Cylinders. To create a shape, click and drag. the greater the distance dragged the larger the shape. Click and drag to set the width. Drag again to set the height. Drag again to set the depth.

Both Pipes and Ducts allow you to create chains of segments for each model type. adjust the thickness of the segment with the slider in the user interface. To create a segment, click and drag. The segment will stretch from the start of the drag to the release. Additional segments are created after subsequent clicks stretching from the end of the last created segment to your current drag handle. To stop the creating a chain of pipes or ducts use the Finish button which will appear after at least one segment has been created.

Select from the list to scale your model to different sizes.

Select a material from the list. The trigger applies the selected material onto models. For more information see Materials.

From this menu you will have access to the element properties window. You must select an object in the 3D scene for data to be displayed.

The Annotation button adds an annotation to the selected object(s).

The Hide button hides the currently selected object(s).

The Reveal All button reveals all objects.

The markups you make in VR are automatically saved to your desktop. Select the Color of the markup with the color selector. The active color is displayed below the Color Selector.

Draws a line when the trigger is pressed

Draws a circle when the trigger is pressed

Erases other markups when the trigger is pressed.

The Size slider controls the radius of the circle.

The Thickness slider controls the thickness of lines on the circle.

The Render at Cursor checkbox toggles whether the Markup is drawn on the object being pointed at or at the cursor.

The Delete Last button removes the last markup.

The Delete All button clears the current markup.

The Screenshot Type drop down menu allows the user to select from various screenshot types, Possible Screenshot types are:

Select equipment from the list and place it in the project with the trigger. For more information see Content Libraries.

The Snap to Family Placement Corners toggles snapping to corners happens while placing objects.

Use the trigger to select points for your measurement.

The Delete Last button removes the last created measurement

The Delete All button removes all measurements in the project.

The Finish button deselects the equipment allowing you to select objects.

Select in the 3D scene to move the section cut around the space. You can also control whether the object is a vertical or Free Form section cut. For a freeform section cut hold down the trigger to change the orientation for section cut mode the key bindings are the default.

Navigation Apps

Access Navigation apps from virtual reality

The Navigation menu includes 3 other apps used to navigate your project.

The 2D Map app displays the Minimap. For more information see Navigation.

Toggle Room UI check box toggles whether The Revit Room Name is displayed on the HUD.

The Peer to Peer app allows you to navigate to other collaborators in your peer to peer session.

The Navigation app displays all the saved views in your project. Select a saved view in the list and your are brought to that view. For more information see Saved Views.
