When using zones for filtering it is important to understand how zones function in Fuzor. Zones are designed to contain a snapshot of a model. A zone is associated with the objects that are visible in the model and contained within the zone when it is created, edited or updated. This allows the user to create separate sets of zones for different model sets or sequences.
When highlight a zone will highlight the objects it is associated with and not necessarily what is visible in the scene at the time.

A user may need to update a zone in order for it to select new objects.

The Show Task List radio button toggles whether the Gantt Chart is displayed while the Construction Zone Manager is open. The Gantt Chart and the Construction Zone Manager must be displayed so that the user can select both a task and a Zone at the same time.
Enable Zone Edit must be active in order to remove or add selected zones to tasks.

Work Rate Duration Calculation menu to calculate task durations with BIM data
The Rate of Work app in Fuzor allows users to calculate the expected duration of a task using data stored in the BIM properties of objects assigned to tasks. | |||||||

The Work rate Duration Calculation menu displays all work rate calculations in the file. The Create button adds a new work rate calculation to the list associated with the task that is currently selectedin the gantt chart. Each work rate calculation can be furthur filtered down to apply to a subset of the objects assigned to the assoicated task. In order do be included in the work rate calculation the objects must contain a given value in a specified BIM parameter. In the example above only objects with the “Structural Foundation” Category are included in the calculation. The Classification selects a BIM property to use to filter the objects The Value drop down menu is used to select a value to filter the objects The Unit drop down menu specifies an additional BIM parameter that is used for the calculation. In the example above the Volume is used to for the calculation. in this case the total volume is calculated for appropriate objects and mulitplied by the Rate of Work / Hour factor. The Calculate button processes the rate of work calculations and updates associated tasks. The Calcuated Duration column displays the workrate calculation. | |||||||

Workrate Management

Workrate Calculations are stored in the Calculated Duration Column in the Gantt Chart. This column displays the total of all calculated durations associated with the tasks. | |||||||

In some situations more information is needed to understand the workrate calculation or how several work rate calculations are added together. The Calculated Duration column can be selected to diplay more information about the workrate calculation | |||||||

Each separate calculation is stored as a separate entry. Specific information about how the duration is calulated is displayed and is updated when durations are recaluclated. |  | ||||||
