This section provides information about manipulating task columns using the Task Table.

Understanding schedule data is useful when managing a Fuzor construction project. In Fuzor, schedule data can be used to automate task assignment, conduct schedule analysis, and control a construction simulation.

Each of the columns in the 4D Task Table can be used to customize data associated with tasks and perform operations involved in schedule analysis. You can resize each column by dragging the left side of the column header. Clicking this same handle will collapse the column. The Edit Columns button shown is located in the 4D Simulation Toolbox opens the Custom Columns Panel

The Custom Columns Panel allows you to select which columns are visible in the 4D Task Table. Controlling which columns are enabled is a great way to simplify your workflow.

Toggles whether this column is shown in the Task Table. If a checkbox is greyed out that column cannot be hidden from the Gantt Chart.

You can also create custom columns from this menu and map them to specific data. To create a custom column, click the Add Column button located below the Custom Mappings List shown to the right. This will add a new Column to both the lists in the Custom Column Panel that you can rename by double clicking the new columns name in the Custom Mappings List. These custom mappings appear as columns in the far right of your 4D Task Table.

The Finish button closes the Custom Columns Panel saving your changes.

The Cancel button closes the Custom Columns Panel removing your changes.

The Show All button reveals all columns.

The Hide All Custom Columns button hides all columns.

Column Descriptions

This section contains detailed information about each of the columns in the Task Table.

If a column is editable, you can edit its value by double clicking. Assume a column is editable unless noted otherwise in this section.

The 5D column toggles whether the task is active in the 3D View or in the 5D cost graph.

The ID column contains an ID for each task. IDs are unique, when a new task is created the ID is automatically set to the smallest unreserved whole number. This column can be mapped to when importing.

The Unique ID column contains an ID for each tasks. The unique ID is used as the unique identifier for schedules that have been imported from Microsoft Project. This column can be mapped to when importing.

Displays The Filter column displays all filters added to a task and allows you to delete them. For more information see Filters. This column is always visible in the Gantt Chart.

Allows The Relink Micro Task column allows the user to relink a Microtask micro task to a new Macrotaskmacro task. For more informationsee Task Linking. This column is always visible in the Gantt Chart

The Task Type column Specifies the task type. different options are available depending on which objects are assigned. For more information see Object Assignment. This column is always visible in the Gantt Chart.

The Obj # Object Count column displays the number of objects assigned to the task. It also includes the number of objects assigned to the children of the task in parenthesis. This column cannot be edited directly.

The Name column displays a unique name for the task. This column can be mapped to when importing. This column is always visible in the Gantt Chart.

The Duration, Start and End columns describe the amount of time that the task is elapsed. These columns have planned, actual, remaining, and baseline counterparts. These columns can be mapped to when importing with the exception of the Highlight columns.

The Highlight column allows the user to adjust the highlight color of the associated task.

The Progress Status column controls whether a task has started or been completed.

The % Complete column displays the completion status of a task. This column cannot be edited directly.

There are also Planned, Actual, Remaining, and Baseline columns for each type of cost.

The Predecessor column can be used to assign predecessors. The Successor column can be used to assign successor. For more information see 4D Analysis.

The Resource column is used to assign resources to tasks. For more information see 5D Construction.

The Expenses column is used to assign Expenses to tasks.

The Constraint Type column displays the type of constraint. By default, all tasks have the as soon as possible constraint forcing them to start at the beginning of the schedule. Changing the start date will change the constraint type to no earlier than.

The Constraint Date column displays the date of the constraint.

The Calendar column allows you to assign a specific calendar for each task.

The Total Float/Slack column is the amount of time the task can miss its completion date without effecting the project completion dates.

The Calculated Duration Column Displays the calculated Workrate Duration assocatied with the task. For more information seeWorkrate Calculation.
