For some buildings certain regulations must me followed pertaining to the number of steps between certain workstations. For example, in a hospital there needs to be a minimum number of steps between a nurse station and all associated patient rooms.

The Step Counter App is located in the Analysis tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + Apostrophe hotkey opens the Step Counter App. The Step Counter App can be dragged around the Fuzor Window. For more information see Workspace Management. In this menu you can set the Stride Size which will specify a distance to measure steps by and set the speed of your avatar. To test out the number of steps drop your avatar in the space you wish to measure and walk around with the avatar. As you walk it will count the number of steps. Use the Reset button to reset both the Steps Taken and the Distance Traveled

Learn how to generate a view analysis.

...

The View Analysis App is located in the Analysis tab of the Fuzor App Menu. A view analysis includes in depth information on what objects may be visible from a given view. This is a great way to use Fuzor to assess which views may be more valuable. This is a tool that could be used by a hotel to price rooms or an office building to price office space. The algorithm generates a report that can be viewed in a web browser.

To add an object as a window for view analysis simply click on the View Analysis row in the Element Properties Overlay with your window selected. This adds the selected object to the View Analysis report.

Once all of your objects are added click the View Analysis App in the Analysis Tab of the More Options Menu. This opens a file browser for you to save an html file that displays the information collected in the analysis.

Each object added to the analysis will generate a separate report that contains indexing information Id, Level, Room Name, Room Number. It will also analyze what can be seen from that window.

The View Analysis will generate two images. The left image is a quick real time render. The right image is the view striped of materials and shadows that is flat color and easier for the algorithm to understand. Values will be organized by RGB color and given a percentage based on the amount of screen space that is covered by the particular color or material.
