Analysis
Rooms
Create and edit rooms that are used for many different analytical tests.
For many of the analytical applications in Fuzor you need to generate a room in order to run a test. Rooms specify a bound for analysis to taken within. If a particular test requires a room, it will have a List Of Rooms Tab inside of its window. Height Clearance, and Light Reports all utilize rooms. |
Height Clearance
Check whether objects within a given room violate a height clearance using the Height Clearance Tool.
The Height Clearance App is located within the Analysis tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Ctrl + I hotkey opens the Height Clearance App. Height clearance ensures that a person of the specified height is able to walk around the room space unobstructed. This tool allows you to generate height clearance results by room. |
Light Reports
This section demonstrates how to use the Light Reports App to analyze lighting by room.
The Light Reports App is located in the Analysis Tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Ctrl + N hotkey opens the Light Reports App. You can use this menu to generate light reports in each of your defined rooms. The Add button adds a new light report of the current room to the list. |
Edge Detection
Detect potentially harmful edges within a defined zone.
The Edge Detection App is located in the Analysis tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + I hotkey opens the Edge Detection App. This is a good way to ensure that there are no hazardous areas in your model that could be an issue during construction. |
Clash Analysis
This chapter demonstrates how to conduct clash analysis using Fuzor’s Clash detection system and generate reports.
The Clash Analysis App is located in the Analysis section of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + R hotkey opens the Clash Analysis App. The Clash Analysis App allows you to view a list of tests by name. You can select tests from this list by clicking on them. To rename a test double click it in the list. |

A camera can either be in color or black and white mode. |
Step Counter
Learn how to use the Step Counter to measure walking distance and make sure it meets standards.
For some buildings certain regulations must me followed pertaining to the number of steps between certain workstations. For example, in a hospital there needs to be a minimum number of steps between a nurse station and all associated patient rooms. |
View Analysis
Learn how to generate a view analysis.
The View Analysis App is located in the Analysis tab of the Fuzor App Menu. A view analysis includes in depth information on what objects may be visible from a given view. This is a great way to use Fuzor to assess which views may be more valuable. This is a tool that could be used by a hotel to price rooms or an office building to price office space. The algorithm generates a report that can be viewed in a web browser. |
Presence Mapper
Use the Presence Mapper App to analyze a user’s VR experience
The Fuzor Presence Mapper App is located in the Media Tab of the Fuzor App Menu. This app is used to analyze what aspects of the project the VR user focused on the most.
