Filters

Learn how to filter the objects in your project.

Data Automation

Learn how to add BIM parameters to multiple objects using the Data Automation app.

Working with BIM parameters is an important part of managing a project in Fuzor.

Split Geometry

This section demonstrates using the Split Geometry App to subdivide objects into smaller pieces.

The Split Geometry App is located under the Coordination Tab of your Fuzor App Menu shown to the right. With this menu open you can either split the geometry by level or by Interval. Switch between these modes using the drop down at the top. Type allows you to select different types of level based geometry subdivisions.

Materials

Material Library

This section demonstrates how to use the Material Library App to change the materials of objects in the 3D scene.

The Material Library displays all of the materials in your project. The settings in this menu allow the user to fine tune their materials. When this app is open, the material applied to your selection is selected in the material list. by default, the object in your 3D View will not be highlighted.

History

This section demonstrates how to use the history app to manage your changes to your file.

The History App is located in the Coordination Tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The History App can be dragged around the Fuzor window. For more information see Workspace Management. The List in the History App displays all changes you have made in the current session. Click a change in the list to navigate back to the state of the cache file directly after the change was made. If a change is made all changes that are after the currently loaded state will be removed.

Refit Tool

Learn about the benefit of Auto-Refit and in what context it is enabled.

One of the most common operations in Fuzor is object transformation. The Refit Tool is used to transform objects and is an integral to creating animations in Fuzor. Most of the time when an object is selected the Refit Tool appears automatically. For more information see Refit Tool.

Measurement Tools App

This section provides detailed information on the types of measurements that can be created using the Measurement Tools App.

The Measurement Tools App is located in the Coordination tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + M hotkey opens the Measurement Tools App. The Measurement Tools App can be dragged around the Fuzor window. For more information see Workspace Management.

Selection Sets

Learn how to create Selection Sets in Fuzor.

You can make selection sets in Fuzor just like in Navisworks. The Selection Set app is located in the Coordination of the Fuzor App Menu. The Selection Sets App can be dragged around the Fuzor window. For more information see Workspace Management. Selections sets can be used to make groupings of objects. After you create a selection set and add all of the desired objects to it you can select all of those objects at once by selecting the selection set.

Sequence Animation

This section demonstrates how to create a sequence animation using imported models and equipment.

A construction simulation may need to include operations with plants and equipment that are not included in the Fuzor Content Library. This is common, especially when the user its demonstrating the operation of custom machinery. Demonstrating this unique methodology is possible utilizing a Sequence Animation. A Sequence Animation allows the user animate detailed operations with any object loaded into Fuzor.

Multi-Track Animation

This chapter demonstrates how to perform multiple operations with the same object at different times in the simulation.

Fuzor is the only AEC solution that utilizes Multi-Track Animations. Multi-Track Animations allow construction plants and vehicles to perform multiple animations in the same simulation. This allows users to incorporate detailed plant operations into the schedule.

Auto Clash Resolve

This section demonstrates how to use the Auto Clash Resolve App

The Auto Clash Resolve app is located in the Coordination Tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + Z hotkey opens the Auto Clash Resolve App. The Auto Clash Resolve app can be dragged around the Fuzor window. For more information see Workspace Management.

Saved Views

This section demonstrates how to access your saved views that were synced over from your external software

The Saved Views App is located in the Coordination tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + Q hotkey opens the Saved View App. The Saved Views App can be dragged around the Fuzor Window. For more information see Workspace Management. With the Saved Views App open you can access all of the views that were synced over from Navisworks and Revit as well as create and export views in Fuzor. To select a saved view, click the check box in the top left corner of the view's thumbnail. To load a saved view, click on the thumbnail. Rename a saved view by double clicking it in this list.

Visibility Override

This section demonstrates how to hide objects from the 3D View

The Visibility Override App is located in the Coordination tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + Addition Symbol hotkey opens the Visibility Override App. The Visibility Override App always appears in the center of the Fuzor window and can be dragged around. For more information see Workspace Management. Additionally, the Visibility Overrides App can be resized.

Section Cut

This section demonstrates how to create and manipulate section cuts to be stored within your saved views.

The Section Cut App is located in the Coordination Tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + X hotkey opens the Section Cut App. With the Section Cut App Open you can create section cuts to help see internal objects without having to actually divide the meshes manually. If enabled, section cuts will stay active outside of the Section Cut App.

3D Marker

Get started working with 3D Location Markers.

A 3D Location Marker is a label that is attached to a specific object. Their visibility can be toggled at different times during a flythrough video to label different methodology or objects in your model.
