Fuzor Content

Fuzor Content

Content Library

This section provides an overview to the content library and avatar customization apps.

The Content Library App is located in the Content tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + 8 hotkey opens the Content Library App. The Content Library is used to place native Fuzor assets into your project. These assets include: Construction Vehicles, Construction Equipment, Civilian Vehicles, Civilian Pedestrians, and Construction Workers

Content Download Manager

Learn how to use the Content Download Manager to populate your Content Library.

The Content Download Manager app is located under content in the More Options Menu. With the Content Download Manager App open you can select Add Content button and a file browser will appear for you to select your .arr file. Fuzor will take a moment to move the file to the correct location. Then it will prompt you to save your work and restart Fuzor. If the content you are adding extended content requires a License Key the following message will appear. To gain access to the extended content Enter your key that was provided to you by Fuzor with the content file.

Avatar Customization

This section demonstrates how to customize your avatar.

The Avatar Customization App is located in the Content tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Ctrl + 5 hotkey opens the Avatar Customization App. The Avatar Customization App where can be used to edit specific attributes of your Avatar. You can scroll through the different avatar until you find one that you like.

Construction Equipment

This chapter describes settings that are specific to Equipment and Vehicle content in Fuzor.

The Fuzor Content library contains a many different Vehicles and Equipment. Each of these Assets have different purposes and uses in a construction simulation. Depending on the vehicle being used Fuzor allows different settings and controls.

Vehicle Animation

This chapter demonstrates how to to add detailed vehicle operations to construction simulations.

An advanced construction simulation requires that vehicles and equipment can perform operations at specific times in the schedule. Fuzor allows users to demonstrate this methodology using Vehicle Animations.

Autogenerated Keyframe Animations

Learn how to add Autogenetrated Keyframe Animations to your vehicle animations.

Articulating detailed operations of vehicles is essential to conducting accurate construction simulations. The vehicles in Fuzor’s Content Library have many different moving parts. Animating each individual movement of a vehicle may take time.

Paths

Learn about the different types of paths in Fuzor.

Paths allow you to create systems for placing content and creating traffic control systems. Paths are represented by nodes that are linked together with segments forming the path. The Path App is used to create Paths. The Path App can be dragged around the workspace for more information see Workspace Management.

Traffic Paths

Learn how to visualize pedestrian and roadway traffic during a construction simulation.

Traffic Paths are and advanced visualization tool that enables users to create active site models. They are designed to show civilian pedestrian and vehicle traffic that surrounds the construction site or to demonstrate the site accessablility for Construction Workers. Traffic Paths can be controlled with Triggers and can also be added to tasks to allow the user to change traffic at different times during the construction simulation.

Placement Paths

This Chapter provides users with information regarding placement paths for Equipment and Foliage placement

Placement Paths are an essential part of site population. They are designed to allow users to quickly populate the site with temporary site fencing, Scaffolding, and Foliage.

A solid understanding of Placement Paths requires the user to be familiar with controlling and creating Paths. There are three types of placment paths in Fuzor:

Site Egress Routes

Learn how to create egress routes for site logistics presentations

Site Egress Routes are a special type of path that can be used to demonstrate routing logistics. Site Egress Routes are not created or shown in the Path App. The Site Egress App is located in the Analysis Tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Site Egress App can be dragged around the workspace for more information see Workspace Management.

Animation Linked Paths

Learn to create smooth driving animations with fuzor vehicles using Animation Linked Paths.

Animation Linked Paths allow users to utilize the smooth driving animations of paths with a Vehicle Animation. Using an Animation Linked Path to create an animation of a vehicle entering and leaving the construction site is much quicker than manually creating a Keyframe Animation.

Foliage Placement

Learn how to use the Foliage Placement App to populate the scene with Foliage and other assets.

The Foliage Placement App can be used to place foliage in your scene. It is located in the Content tab of your Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + P hotkey can be used to open the Foliage Placement App.

Foliage can be added to Placement Paths.

Family Placement

This section covers using our Family Placement App and populating it with family objects or ArchVision content.

Open Fuzor and navigate to the Family Placement App. The Family Placement App is located under Design in Fuzor App Menu. With the Family Placement App open you can view objects that have been added to your personal library. You can automatically add an object to this list by selecting Add To Family Placement option in the prompt that appears when importing via drag and drop. This prompt will only appear with Sketchup and FBX files. Point Clouds when dragged and drop cannot be added to Family Placement.
