The Fuzor Content library contains a many different Vehicles and Equipment. Each of these Assets have different purposes and uses in a construction animationsimulation. Depending on the vehicle being used Fuzor allows different settings and controls.

  • Many of Fuzor’s Equipment and Vehicles can be used to create Vehicle Animations.

  • Different Assets can be added to different kinds of Paths.

There are some parameters that only appear in the element properties window when the selected object is a Content Library Asset.

The Show Scale Menu parameter opens the Vehicle Size Adjustment window. The Vehicle Size Adjustment tool allows you to specify specific values for the size of your Vehicle.

Use the Length, Width, and Height fields to scale the vehicle in each direction respectively.

The Turning Radius textbox allows you to change the turning radius after the vehicle has been placed.

The Driver parameter allows you to control what driver appears in your Vehicle. Click the Driver column to switch between a male driver, a female driver, or no driver. For construction vehicles the drivers are construction workers in uniform. For Civilian Vehicles the drivers are civilians.

The Company's Logo parameterallows you to select a logo for your construction Vehicle. This will place a 2D Media object.

The Boat Wake button is available for boats. It opens a menu to control and manipulate the wake on the boat.

The Blinkrate slider controls the blick rate of appropriate lights. Some site lighing equipment and barriers have the ability to blink. If supported for the asset the slider appears at the bottom of the element properties.

Displaying the operation radius helps the user visualize the amount of clearance a vehicle has. It is especially useful for Cranes and Concrete pumps when determining the amount of reach the vehicle may have from a given position.

Use the Operation Radius checkbox to enable the operation Radius.

Vehicles will either have an adaptive operation radius that changes based on the furthest extremity of the vehicle and updates with the animation or the operation radius will be the turning radius.

The turning radius can be adjusted before a vehicle is placed or with the scale menu in the element properties.

Inner rings can be set to display multiple rings at intermediate radius away from the vehicle center. These rings in addition to the outer ring will display measurements on the line.

The operation radius textbox controls the distance of the intermediate rings.

The Font Size controls the size of the font on the measurements

The Radius Line Color pallet controls the color of the lines on the Operation Radius

Cranes have a special operation radius that displays the radius with a cylinder. The

crane operation radius is also adaptive to the animation.

The Toggle 3D Operation Radius checkbox switches the operation radius between 2D operation radius and 3D operation radius.

Crane Operation radius can have Arcs. Arc allow the user to control the range of rotation that an operation radius is displaying.

The Arc Begin textbox defines the start of the arc in degrees. By default, this is set to 0 degrees.

The Arc End textbox defines the start of the arc in degrees. By default, this is set to 360 degrees.

.

The Show cap only checkbox toggles whether the 3D Crane operation radius displays the cap or the full 3D Cylinder. A crane cap is a circle or semi circle that shows the operation radius above the crane.

The Radius Volume Color pallete changes the color of either the 3D volume or the surface of the crane cap.

Learn how to utilize swappable vehicle components

Multi-track animations can be created for each swapped part and assigned to tasks in the schedule. During the construction animation vehicles automatically swap to the attachment associated with the animation assigned to tasks.

Specific vehicles have additional components or swappable partsA construction simulation may need to show a single vehicle utilizing modular components to accomplish different tasks at particular times. This includes excavators with different arm attacmentsattachments, and cranes that have a different arangment of jibs and masts.

Specific Fuzor vehicles allow users to change components. Multi-Track Animations can be created for each swapped part and assigned to tasks in the schedule. During the construction simulation vehicles automatically swap to the attachment associated with the Multi-Track Animation assigned to tasks.

Vehicles with swappable components have an indicator when displayed in the content library.

To swap a vehicle for an alternate part select the alternate part from the change parts drop down menu in the element properties with the vehicle selected.

Editing or creating an animation for a specific component requires that the vehicle used to create the animation has is currently utilizing the same desired component.
