This section demonstrates how to transform objects using the Refit tool.

When an object is selected the Refit widget is automatically enabled. This tool is used to transform objects in Fuzor. The buttons on the bottom of the menu help manage the changes being made.

The Finish button closes the menu retaining transformation changes

The Reset button reverts any changes made while the menu was open.

The Focus button focuses on the currently selected model.

The Cancel button will revert the changes made in the session and close the Transformation View

Adjusting the Pivot of the Revit session allows the user to control the transformation from another perspective or rotate around another point.

With Adjust Pivot selected you can change the location of the pivot point.

The Center Pivot button will move the pivot point to the logical center of the model.

Special tools in the Refit menu help the user align their model to other models:

The Refit Physics radio button toggles whether objects snap to colliding objects.

The Pt. to Pt. button translates an object and lines a point on it up to a point on another model. This can only be used with Transformation.

Orthographic views can be enabled to help the user line object up in 3D Space. Use Enable Views to toggle whether the views appear when an object is selected.

Orthographic means that objects are not in perspective like in the 3D view. This makes it easy to line up objects along cardinal axis even if they are far from each other.

You can change between different transformation tools using the radio button located at the top of the window. For each of these tools you can Toggle whether you are editing the pivot point or the object itself.

The Move tool is used to position models. The Ctrl + W hotkey Switches to the Move tool. Use each of the Axis fields to change the position of the object. To move the object incrementally use the right and left arrows associated with each Axis.

Rotate Tool is used to orient models around the pivot point. The Ctrl + E hotkey switches to the Rotate tool. Use each of the Axis fields to control how the object is rotating around the pivot point. The object can also be rotated around axis with their respective sliders. You cannot rotate the pivot point.

The Scale Tool is used to change the size of an object. The Ctrl + R hotkey switches to the Scale tool. Use each of the axis field to control how the object is rotated. The object will scale relative to its pivot point. Placing a pivot on a corner or side of an object will cause the object to scale in the opposite direction.

The Uniform Scale textbox insures that the object is not scaled disproportionately across Axis. This will retain relative structure. Uniform Scale is required if center pivot is checked.

The Use % Scale textbox changes the measurement type of the scale fields to be a percentage of the original model.
