Working with BIM parameters is an important part of managing a project in Fuzor.
| |||||||
The Data Automation App is located in the Coordination tab of the App menu. The Data Automation app allows the user to add BIM Parameters based on object selected
The Label textbox specifies a Label for the new BIM parameter. The Value textbox specifies a Value for the new BIM parameter. The Apply button applies the given BIM parameter to all selected objects. |

The Data Automation app can be used to add BIM Parameters to the project automatically. This is useful when the user needs to create level parameters for files with many levels or assign parameters to objects based on zones.
The Generate Level Parameters button creates parameters for objects based on repeating geometry. When used the “Generated Level” parameter is added to the model.
An object needs to be selected when Generate Level Parameters is used. Levels can be generated for an entire model, by selecting a subset of that model or a single object in the model. The Started Floor Number specifies what floor the levels should start on. Values can be any number that is not zero, including negative numbers. This option should be used when generated levels are offset from what is desired. It is important to ensure that the collection of objects that levels are being created for contain floors, ceilings or slabs as these are the most reliable geometry when automating level assignment. Other objects will contain better generated level data if the parameters are assigned in the same process. If levels need to be generated for a collection of objects that are in separate models the user can select specific objects that should be included in the process. The Generate Zone Parameter button creates parameters for obejcts based on zones in the model. When used the “Generated Zone” parameter is added to objects that are contained by a zone. The value of the parameter is the name of the zone. The Allow Duplicated Label checkbox toggles whether objects that are contained by mulitple zones recieve a parameter for each zone. |

When BIM parameters are added to objects using data automation they appear in the Created Parameter List. Each entry in the list references a group objects with the same value. Parameters with a common label are collapsed together.

Deletes the associated parameters
The value of each group can be edited by double clicking the field.
BIM parameters can also be added or edited using the element properties associated with an object. Each tab in the element properties has a button to allow the user to add a parameter to that tab

Fuzor Bim parameters always appear without a black border and with special options to edit or remove the parameter.
