This Chapter provides information on the different Content Libraries Available in Fuzor

Content Library App

Learn what content can be placed from the Content Library App

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Content Library App is located in the Content tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + 8 hotkey opens the Content Library App. The Content Library is used to place native Fuzor assets into your project. These assets include: Construction Vehicles, Construction Equipment, Civilian Vehicles, Pedestrians, Construction Workers and various other props.

To search for content in the browser, use the search bar at the top of the Content Library App. Assets not containing the entered phrase are filtered out of the browser.

To place an asset double click it in the browser. When assets in the Content Library are selected, they appear below the browser with additional information and options

Some Content appears grey. This means that the content is not currently downloaded. To access this content, click on the thumbnail and it will be downloaded.

The Unit Price and Hourly Rates are optionally used to calculate total costs when associated equipment is assigned to an equipment task.

The Turning Radius textbox controls the turning radius of an associated vehicle.

The Placement textbox places a path with the associated equipment already populated in it. For more information see Paths.

Marks the selected asset as a Favorite. Favorites are easier to find in the browser.

Downloads any updates for the asset.

Changes the Color Override for the vehicle. For construction vehicles and equipment this is the proper way to change the color.

When Placing an object, the Shift key can be held down to rotate the object. Press Esc at any time to stop placing objects.

A hierarchy of Fuzor assets appears in the Filters tab of the Content Library. The Checkbox next to each entry toggles whether the asset appears in the browser for that object or all of its dependents.

Results can be filtered by purpose or by type.

Results can also be restricted to only show downloaded assets or favorite assets using associated checkboxes.

Pedestrian Settings apply to pedestrians as you place them.

The Animation drop down menu allows you to select from pedestrian animations.

The NPC Height textbox and slider change the height of the pedestrian. .

Content Download Manager

The Content Download Manager app is located under content in the More Options Menu. With the Content Download Manager App open you can select Add Content button and a file browser will appear for you to select your .arr file. Fuzor will take a moment to move the file to the correct location. Then it will prompt you to save your work and restart Fuzor. If the content you are adding extended content requires a License Key the following message will appear. To gain access to the extended content Enter your key that was provided to you by Fuzor with the content file.

Avatar Customization

This section demonstrates how to customize your avatar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Avatar Customization App is located in the Content tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Ctrl + 5 hotkey opens the Avatar Customization App. The Avatar Customization App where can be used to edit specific attributes of your Avatar. You can scroll through the different avatar until you find one that you like.

Certain avatars will have more options other than selected the Height and speed like a Logo or an Accessory Color.

The Hard hat color button will select a hard hat color for construction workers.

The Company's Logo allows you to set a company logo for the particular avatars and vehicles.

The Fuzor's Logo button will set the logo for particular avatars and vehicles to Fuzor's logo

The Height option sets the Height of your avatar.

The Speed slider sets the speed when navigating around your scene as an avatar. The Ctrl + Right Arrow hotkey increases the avatar speed The Ctrl + Left Arrow hotkey decreases the avatar speed.

Foliage Placement Library

The Foliage Placement App can be used to place foliage in your scene. It is located in the Content tab of your Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + P hotkey can be used to open the Foliage Placement App.

Foliage is displayed in the Foliage Placement App. If downloaded assets appear at the top of the list and can be placed by selecting the associated thumbnail. For an asset that is not downloaded selecting thumbnail will download the asset.

The Search bar to allows you to filter through landscape content by name.

 

A hierarchy of foliage assets appears in the Filters tab of the foliage placement app. The Checkbox next to each entry toggles whether the asset appears in the browser for that object or all of its dependents.

Results can be filtered by the type of Tree, Shrub, or Tropical Plant.

Results can also be restricted to only show downloaded assets or favorite assets using associated checkboxes.

The Season dropdown menu selects the season of all Foliage in your project.

The Naming Type will control whether the Scientific or Common name is displayed

The Load Foliage CSV button loads a foliage placement configuration. This is based on the Hong Kong grid system and authoring software must be setup accordingly.

The Snap to Terrain button will snap objects to the terrain when placing.

The Rotation slider controls the amount of randomness applied to the rotation of foliage being placed.

The Height Slider controls the amount of randomness applied to the height of the foliage being placed.

The Use Custom Height checkbox toggles whether a custom set height is used on the foliage being placed. To set this height use the associated textbox.
