The 2D View App generates an orthographic 2D representation of your project. The 2D View App is located in the Coordination Tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + U hotkey opens the 2D View App. When the 2D View App is opened a separate window will open with the 2D View in it. Use the UI in the 2D View App to change what is shown in the 2D View. By default, the 2D View creates a Floor Plan. To change to a Ceiling Plan or an Elevation view use the drop down menu at the top of the app.

Both The Floor Plan option and the Ceiling Plan options are top down views. They will display different information. The Floor plan includes Room names, Windows, and Doors Whereas the Ceiling Plan will only include objects that are attached to the ceiling. Both allow you to select which level you want to be displayed using the second drop down menu.

The Automatic checkbox toggles whether the Level is set to the level the 3D camera is on otherwise you select it from the drop down menu below the view type.

The Independent View Movement checkbox toggles whether the 2D map updates its location as you move in the 3D scene. If unchecked you can still move by panning with the middle mouse button.

The Elevation option is a profile view. It is useful to display height information along a 2D plane. When in this mode you can select a cardinal direction to display the height along. If automatic is selected the plane orientation will be generated based on whatever direction the camera is facing.

There are many options that control the information that is displayed. Some of these options will only effect certain modes.

The Title checkbox toggles the title display in the bottom bar of the window.

The Scale checkbox toggles the scale display in the top left corner.

The Compass checkbox toggles the compass display in the top left corner.

The Room Color Legend checkbox toggles display of the legend in the top right corner in top down 2D views.

The Location Indicator checkbox toggles display of the 3D View camera location in top down 2D views.

The Room Tags checkbox toggles display of room names in the Floor Plan 2D View.

The Door Tags checkbox toggles display of door tags in the Floor Plan 2D View.

The Window Tags checkbox toggles display of the window tags in the Floor Plan 2D View.

The Wall Tags checkbox toggles display of the wall tags in the Floor Plan 2D View.

The Grid Lines checkbox toggles display of the window tags in the top down 2D views.

The Auto Measure checkbox toggles display of automatic measurements in top down 2D views.

The Rotate North checkbox toggles whether north is up in the top down 2D views.

The Show Legend checkbox displays the mouse controls in the top right corner.

The Create PDF button will export the current 2D view as a PDF file. The Width and Height fields determine the size of this PDF

You can add more 2D Views to your project by using these radio buttons. The View name specifies a name for the view. The Create button adds this view to the list that appears when selecting the dropdown at the top of the page.
