HD Screenshot

This section provides detailed information on the kinds of screenshots that can be created with the HD Screenshot App.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The HD Screenshot App is located in the Media Tab of the Fuzor App Menu. The Alt + H hotkey opens the HD Screenshot App. This app can be used to export various different types of HD screenshots.

The resolution of the Screenshot is displayed at the top. The drop down menu can be used to select preset resolutions, custom resolution, Panoramic, or Virtual Reality Screenshots.

Another dropdown menu is used to change the resolution unit between Inches and Pixels.

The Disable Skybox checkbox renders the skybox transparent. This is only an option for PNG screenshots.

The Show Egress Path option toggles whether Egress routes are visible in HD Screenshot.

The Take Screenshot button takes a screenshot with the specified settings.

The Format dialog buttons toggle whether the image is exported as PNG or JPG.

If you change the resolution unit the options for the preset resolutions will change accordingly. Additionally, if you select custom input the values you input will be dependent on the resolution unit. If inches is selected you must specify a DPI. The text boxes that appear when in custom input allow you to specify a width and height and a DPI if necessary.

Both the 360° Screenshot and the VR Panoramic Screenshot will generate different kinds of full view media that can be opened on mobile devices. The 360° Screenshot can be opened Fuzor mobile. The VR Panoramic Screenshot can also be opened with Fuzor Mobile and allows you to enable tracking for the Google Cardboard. The VR Panoramic has two options for resolution and the 360° Screenshot only has one. All of these resolution options are measured in pixels.

The Gantt Chart and Captions from the 4D app can be included in the HD Screenshot.

The Show Tasks/Graph checkbox places the Gantt char, or Graph, from the construction schedule into the HD Screenshot.

The Timeline and Graph radio buttons toggle whether the Gantt Chart or the Cost Graph is displayed in the screenshot.

The Gantt chart will display before taking the screenshot. when displayed the user can edit the gantt chart as though the 4D app were open.

The Show Date checkbox toggles whether the Date and Time Captions from 4D are displayed in the screenshot. They are displayed in the top center of the view.

The PvA Checkbox toggles whether the PvA view is enabled. If the PvA view is enabled it will also be shown in the screenshot. The PvA construction screenshot will stretch the gantt chart across both views showing each model on top of the gantt chart. resolution settings are specific to each view. In PvA the total width of the output will be double what is selected in the drop down menu.

If a construction animation is loaded into 4D the date in the construction schedule will affect object visibilty regardless of whether 4D elements are enabled in HD screenshot. Objects are only visible in HD screenshot if they are visible with respect to the construction schedule at the time in the construction schedule.

Both the 360° Screenshot and the VR Panoramic Screenshot will generate different kinds of panoramic media.

The 360° Screenshot can be opened Fuzor mobile and can also be used as a skybox for Fuzor and other software that supports importing a Panoramic background.

The VR Panoramic Screenshot option creates a Panoramic Screenshot that is compatible with Virtual Reality Headsets and can also be opened with Fuzor Mobile. The VR panoramic allows you to enable tracking for the Google Cardboard.
