For some projects Fuzor may need many triggers to achieve desired functionality. Many of the times these triggers have similar but slightly different rules. For example, a project where there is a trigger for each task in the schedule.
The Column Mapping Trigger App is located in the Content Tab of the Fuzor App menu. The app allows the user to automatically create triggers based on information in a spreadsheet.
The Load Spreadsheet button prompts the user to select a spreadsheet from the file browser The Source Sheet drop down menu controls which sheet is used to read the information
Data from the spreadsheet is selected based on a specified column. A single trigger is always created for each row in the spreasheet. Multiple actions and events can be added to each trigger. The Trigger Name down down menu allows the user to specify a column to control the trigger name.
Options in the menu are organized into two sections which control how the speradsheet data is used. The Events List is used to specify which events should be created The Actions List is used to specify which actions should be created.
The Add button allows the user to add an action or an event to their respective lists.
When created events and actions have a single drop down menu that allows you to select the type of event or action
More options are available after the user has specified a type. Available Actions and Events for the column mapping trigger app are:
The On Task event type option automatically creates on task trigger events using column data for Task ID or Name value. The Create Triggers button initiates the process to create the triggers. When selected the menu displays the Confirm Trigger Creation list which displays each trigger that would be created with the given setup. The Enable Trigger checkbox toggles whether triggers created this way are enabled by default.
The Confirm Trigger Creation list shows the user which triggers cannot be created. this is either becuase there is missing information in the project or the selected column is not appropriate for a given value.
Denotes there is an error creating the associated trigger
The Confirm button confirms the configuration and creates the associated triggers. |
